About The de Soto Society

The de Soto Society is the premier investment banking job placement group at Louisiana State University. The admission process begins in the fall of a student’s freshman / sophomore year where they undergo a behavioral and technical interview to gauge their preparedness and interest in a career in investment banking. Over the next several months, students are given the tools to improve interview skills including technical material packets, upperclassmen mentors, and networking workshops with the ultimate goal of obtaining investment banking summer analyst and full-time analyst positions.
